I recently visited Chit Chat Diner in Hackensack and had such a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The diner has a really fun and modern vibe, and the décor is super unique compared to a typical diner. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they put effort into both the taste and presentation. The menu has a huge variety, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re craving breakfast, comfort food, or something a little different. The service was also excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Even though the diner was busy, the staff handled everything smoothly and kept the experience enjoyable. Overall, Chit Chat Diner is definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the Hackensack area. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

I came with my close friends late after 12mid tired and hungry after concert, love the fast service and hospitality. I went to lots of dinner, but ChitChat has the one of the Best quality and taste foods. The portion are good and the price are affordable. We all happy, enjoyed the food and left with full stomach .
Stopped in at 1am for a quick bite. Good chocolate chip pancakes and the Nutella Blended coffee was yummy. Bit pricy for the drinks- $10.50 and $9.50
We ordered wings, French toast, and nachos. They were all prepared so well and tasted amazing. We didn’t expect this place to be so good, and it turned out to be amazing. 10/10 would recommend, and the prices were great—about the same as, if not a little lower than, other diners. It’s also one of the only diners open 24 hours in NJ these days.
From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. Niko, the owner's son, is such a down-to-earth person and made us feel genuinely welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always smiling—especially our server, Shauna, who provided excellent service. Andy, the manager, was also wonderful. He treated every customer with kindness and respect, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible! We started with calamari, egg rolls, rainbow salad, chicken wings, and sliders. Every appetizer was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we enjoyed steak, lamb chops, salmon, filet of sole, and crab cakes. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and the seafood tasted exceptionally fresh. To finish our meal, we shared the Big Fat Chocolate Cake, Layered Carrot Cake, Checkerboard Cake, and Red Velvet Cake. Every dessert was rich, moist, and absolutely delicious—the perfect ending to an amazing meal. By the end, we were completely full and extremely satisfied. The outstanding food, exceptional service, and warm hospitality made this a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to come back, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and outstanding service!
The breakfast here is really good, great place and atmosphere. Pricing is a bit on the higher side but it’s worth it. Service was great, food came out really quick and was fresh (I was amazed by the turn around time it took from placing my order to getting my food especially since it was a busy Sunday morning). 10/10 recommend.
The staff is always so friendly, and the food has always been great. I love the theme of conversation cards at each table. You can never go wrong with the Desayuno Cubano, and my son absolutely loves their pancakes. It can be busy during the weekend so I’d call ahead, but definitely worth a visit. I try to stop in almost every time I’m in Jersey.
First time at Chit Chat and more than amazed. The food was fresh, HOT, delicious and great portion sizes. I really appreciated the decor and music. Our server Sergio was amazing, taking care of everything in a timely manner. Can’t wait to come back
